Job Overview

We are seeking a talented Desktop Publisher (DTP) to join our creative team. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for design, proficiency in publishing software, and the ability to transform content into visually appealing layouts for print and digital platforms. This role requires creativity, attention to detail, and a strong understanding of typography, graphics, and page composition.

Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

Design and format various materials such as brochures, magazines, reports, presentations, and other publications.
Collaborate with writers, marketers, and designers to ensure high-quality content presentation.
Utilize desktop publishing software (Adobe InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, etc.) to create compelling visual layouts.
Ensure accuracy and consistency in typography, color schemes, and branding guidelines.
Prepare and optimize files for print and digital publication.
Proofread materials for layout, design errors, and inconsistencies.
Stay updated with industry trends and best practices to enhance design quality.

Requirements:

Proven experience as a Desktop Publishier or in a similar role.
Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop).
Strong understanding of typography, color theory, and layout principles.
Ability to work on multiple projects and meet tight deadlines.
Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
Strong communication and collaboration abilities.
Experience with interactive PDFs and digital publications is a plus.
