Job Description

1. Teaching & Learning

Plan and deliver Individualized Education Programmes (IEP) according to each child's learning goals.
Prepare daily lesson plans, learning materials, and classroom activities.
Adapt teaching methods to accommodate different learning styles and abilities.
Conduct one-to-one and small group teaching sessions.
Encourage independence, communication, and self-help skills.

2. Child Development

Observe and assess children's developmental progress.
Monitor behavioural, emotional, communication, and academic development.
Record observations and maintain accurate student progress reports.
Review and update learning goals regularly.

3. Classroom Management

Maintain a safe, structured, and positive learning environment.
Implement behaviour management strategies consistently.
Ensure classroom cleanliness, organization, and safety.
Prepare teaching resources and learning stations.

4. Individual Education Programme (IEP)

Develop and implement Individual Education Plans (IEPs).
Participate in IEP meetings with parents and the multidisciplinary team.
Monitor progress towards IEP goals.
Recommend modifications based on student performance.

5. Parent Communication

Build positive relationships with parents and caregivers.
Provide regular updates on student progress.
Conduct parent consultations and meetings.
Offer guidance on home-based learning strategies.
